Agreement to Terms
By browsing our website (sketchlogicx.com), requesting a project quotation, commissioning artwork, or executing an official Statement of Work with SketchLogicX, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a corporation, studio, or enterprise client, you warrant that you possess the necessary legal authority to bind that entity to these terms.
Studio Services & Commission Scope
SketchLogicX specializes in custom hand-drawn, digital graphite, 3D conceptual, and architectural sketch services. Each project scope is explicitly defined in your written project proposal, invoice, or formal estimate, detailing:
- Primary design category (Architectural, Product Design, 3D Concept, Character/Anime, Technical Schematics, or Bespoke Wall Art).
- Deliverable file formats, resolutions (standard 300+ DPI client-ready files), and orientation.
- Delivery milestones, estimated schedule, and agreed revision rounds.
Quotes, Retainers & Invoicing
All written quotations provided by SketchLogicX remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue.
- Project Retainer: Unless otherwise specified in a formal enterprise agreement, standard custom commissions require a 50% non-refundable commencement retainer prior to initiating concept sketches.
- Milestone Balance: The remaining 50% balance becomes due upon presentation of the approved watermarked final artwork and prior to transmission of unwatermarked, high-resolution source files.
- Payment Methods: Invoices are payable via approved corporate bank transfer, credit card, or certified electronic payment.
Design Revisions & Approval Process
To ensure precise artistic alignment, our studio follows a milestone-driven review process:
- Phase 1 — Gesture & Composition: Preliminary rough sketches are presented to confirm silhouette, camera perspective, and focal points. Two (2) complimentary rounds of minor structural revision are included at this stage.
- Phase 2 — Final Inking & Value Shading: Once composition is approved, detail shading, lighting, and textures are rendered.
- Scope Adjustments: Revisions requested after final approval that contradict previously accepted phases, or request fundamentally new concepts, will be billed at our standard hourly studio rate upon mutual written agreement.
Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
Complete Commercial Transfer Upon Full Payment: Upon full settlement of all project invoices, SketchLogicX grants the client full, perpetual, worldwide commercial usage rights to the delivered final artwork for marketing, presentation, investor decks, print collateral, and retail merchandise as outlined in the commission brief.
Studio Portfolio Display Rights: Unless a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or embargo period is executed in writing, SketchLogicX retains the non-exclusive right to display completed sketches, process timelapses, and case studies in our agency portfolio, Behance, social channels, and promotional materials.
Client Reference Materials & Trademarks
When you provide reference images, blueprints, logos, CAD files, or character references for our studio to adapt, you warrant that you either own the intellectual property or possess the appropriate license to authorize SketchLogicX to use those materials for commission execution.
Timelines & Electronic Deliverables
Project timelines (standard 3–7 business days for standard commissions) commence only after receipt of the required retainer and complete reference files. Deliverables are transmitted electronically via secure cloud download in high-resolution JPG, PNG, PDF, or layered source formats as contracted.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because custom sketching entails bespoke, dedicated artist labor from hour one, project retainers are non-refundable once work has commenced. If a client cancels a project mid-progress, the client is responsible only for completed milestone work, and SketchLogicX will deliver all work-in-progress files completed up to that date.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SketchLogicX and its artists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our sketches, project delays caused by client response latency, or third-party trademark claims relating to client-provided references.
